Table Top Fun Day & Photograph Competition A Success
Local residents were invited to come along and have fun at another event arranged by local resident and board member of the management company Sally Green - amongst other things there was a barbecue, lots of stalls, and The Cafe on the Park (recently named by public vote).
The team running the centre is keen to introduce art into the building and invited the public to enter a Photograph Competition. The theme for the photographs was ‘Our Community’ – and winning photograph(s) will be enlarged, framed and put on display in the centre. Short listed photographs were displayed so visitors at the Community Centre could vote for their favourite!
Sally Green said: “The Table Top Fun Day is all about the community getting together and having fun - everyone was welcome and it was a great success and I hope we can do the same next summer!” Sally also raised funds on the day for a local children’s charity.
